Introduction to Far-Infrared Radiant Heat Blackbody Tubes:
Generally speaking, heat is transferred in three ways: convection, conduction, and radiation. By means of radiation, energy can be transmitted across a space without significant loss. Radiant energy is the transfer of energy from a heat source (emitter) to a receiving object (absorber) in the form of electromagnetic waves. When transmitted in this manner, it should be referred to as radiant energy, rather than being carried out in the form of "heat." "Heat" is the result produced after an object absorbs radiant energy. For a given object or substance, if radiant energy passes through it or is reflected off its surface, that object or substance remains unaffected. Conversely, if it absorbs the radiant energy, it takes effect – converting the radiant energy into the form of heat, thereby raising the temperature of the substance. Therefore, radiant energy has the characteristic of directly heating an object without requiring the surrounding environment to be heated first. This makes it significantly different from convection or conduction, which rely on a medium such as a solid, liquid, or gas to transfer energy to the target object.
Infrared itself does not heat the air directly. Although it can be absorbed by dust, moisture, and carbon dioxide present in the air, the actual temperature rise of the air is the result of absorption by these substances.
Common examples of radiant heat sources encountered in daily life include the sun, burning flames, fire stones, etc. Infrared waves are completely harmless to the human body and must not be confused with ultraviolet rays or atomic radiation, as the latter can cause harm to the human body. Therefore, infrared radiant energy is a safe and useful form of energy. The most representative example is, of course, the sun. As is well known, sunlight comes from outer space, 150 million kilometers away from Earth. The heat reaching Earth from the sun is a classic example of radiant energy.

When an electric current is applied, the heat energy radiates through the tube wall in the form of infrared wavelengths ranging from 3μm to 50μm – a performance that quartz tubes, infrared bulbs, and wire-wound tubes have never been able to achieve!
