The finned single-ended electric heating tube is typically used for air heating, effectively enhancing heat dissipation and accelerating heating time. This tube features fins wrapped around the surface of a single-ended tube. Depending on the application and installation requirements, customers may request additional fixing measures such as threaded connections or small flanges at the tip of the heating tube, all of which can be customized according to actual usage.
Design and Customization of Finned Single-Ended Electric Heating Tubes:
Voltage and power: Voltage range 6–440V; power to be determined by mutual agreement between the customer and our company.
Tube diameter: Can be manufactured from 4.5 mm to 30 mm as per customer requirements. Special attention should be given to the overall diameter after fin attachment to ensure proper installation.
Tube length: Non‑standard customization (minimum length 30 mm).
Tube materials: Main options include 10# carbon steel, SUS304, SUS321, SUS316L, stainless steel with anti‑scale coating, titanium tube, etc.
Heating wire options: Typically iron‑chromium‑aluminum wire (from Beijing Shougang) or nickel‑chromium wire (2080 resistance wire). The choice depends on the customer’s operating temperature.
Other specifications: Operating environment, terminal or lead wire length (standard: 200 mm), whether threaded installation is required (thread size), and diameter and length of metal flexible hoses, etc.
Precautions for Using Single-Ended Electric Heating Tubes:
Operating voltage must not exceed the rated voltage by more than 10%.
The mold hole diameter should not be more than 0.15 mm larger than the tube diameter.
The heating tube must fit tightly into the mold hole; exposure that may cause dry‑burning is strictly prohibited.
If the packaging is damaged, the product may become damp. However, it will automatically recover after heating – please store properly and use with confidence.
When the mold single‑ended heating tube is in normal operation, is temperature control used? If so, what is the controlled temperature?
Applications and Scope of Use:
Conventional straight single‑ended heating rods are suitable for: plastic encapsulation, mold heating, analytical instruments, cigarette manufacturing, footwear industry, semiconductor eutectic soldering, input channel heating for die‑casting parts, runnerless injection molding, and refrigeration effects from gas expansion in various applications, among others.
